<p>PURPOSE: To provide a system state monitor device generated so that it can be used in common for more than two ports with one console by providing three ports and swithcing them. CONSTITUTION: The first port P1 connected to CPU 30', the second port P2 connected to the console 60 and the third port P3 connected to MODEM 70 for communication with a remote contorl part 80 are provided. When the system state monitor device (MSP) 40' is in a system state monitor mode with a control instruction that a user inputs, a system state relation signal is supplied to the console 60 through the second port P2. When the device is in a central processing unit-only mode, data is tansmitted/received between CPU 30' and the console 60 through the first and second ports P1 and P2. When the device is in a transmission/reception mode with th e remote contorl part 80, one console containing a selection control means for selectively connecting MODEM 70 to CPU 30' and MSP 40' is shared with a central processing unit.</p> |
