PURPOSE:To recognize the position of an electronic component by obtaining a good reflection image of a lead irrespective of the shape thereof. CONSTITUTION:Lights from optical fibers 72 arranged on a third wall face 66 at a lighting section 61 are reflected in various directions on the first wall face 64 to the fifth wall face 68 and impinge on a lead 20 of a chip component 5A. Lights emitted from a surface emitting element 74 also impinge on the lead 20 through an opening from below and a good reflection image of the lead 20 is taken, over a wide range thereof, into a recognition camera. |
