POSITION REGULATOR FOR COMPONENT MOUNTING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To provide a position regulator for a component mounting machine mounting components on a circuit board in which positioning of components is carried out by means of a pair of position regulating pawls regardless of the dimensions of the component. CONSTITUTION:The position regulator comprises a position regulating pawl 8 having a recessed regulating face 7 for regulating the position of a component 6 having a protrusion 5 on the side face having fixed dimensions and being sucked through a suction nozzle by pinching the protrusion 5. This constitution allows mounting of the component 6 accurately onto a circuit board while regulating the position thereof by means of a pair of position regulating pawls 8.
