PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument to generate musical sound of an artificial granular synthesis method at real time. CONSTITUTION:A granular single signal data called grain is memorized in continuous zero value data of a waveform memory 1, and from this waveform memory 1, a data equivalent to an interval designated by a start position designation circuit 4 and finish position designation circuit 5 is repeatedly read out. To the start position designation circuit 4 and the finish position designation circuit 5, an artificial random number data generated by an artificial random number generation circuit 6 is supplied. Consequently, the interval changes, and as a result, a data which the arrangement state of grain changes every second is read out. Consequently, it is possible to provide an electronic musical instrument of an artificial granular synthesis method in simple constitution at low cost. |
