PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability by an operator without lowering an energy- saving effect by measuring the operation frequency of a device and deciding a time taken until interrupting a power source based on a measured result. SOLUTION: A buffer equivalent to a present time secured at the inside of an NVRAM 16 is selected. For instance, the number of times of copying operation performed in an hour from 4pm to 5pm is stored at a 4pm buffer. A value stored in a selected buffer is substituted to a counter, so that an automatic shut-off time is set. The time taken until interrupting the power source by automatic shut-off is set short as the use frequency of a copying machine at a time zone is small. In the case that copying is started after substituting zero to the counter, the value of the counter is increased by one. When the time zone is changed, a present counter value is stored in a present buffer, and the buffer is newly selected. |
