PURPOSE:To maintain an effective space by the portion which is not occupied by an indoor air conditioner by suspending a easing on an outdoor veranda or on the upper part of a terrace and penetrating an air supply duct or a ventilation duct through a beam of a dwelling house in structure. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner suspends a easing 1 on a slab A on the upper part of an outdoor veranda or terrace wherein heat exchangers 2 and 3, a compressor 4, a refrigerant pipeline 5 and the like are built in the easing 1. An indoor side chamber 1a which is isolated from the easing 1, but mounts an air supply duct 6 and a ventilation duct, is installed while an outdoor side chamber 1b equipped with an air suction port 1c and an air exhaust port 1d are installed. The internal part of the indoor chamber 1a is partially partitioned with a partitioning board 1e on the upper and lower sides, thereby forming a U-shaped air flow passage. The heat exchanger 2 is installed to the upper side of the flow passage of the chamber 1a and the air supply duct 6 is mounted at the destination of a fan 8. The ventilation duct 7 which sucks up indoor air is installed to the lower side of the flow passage. The intake air is arranged to flow past a coil section of the heat exchanger 2 and supplied indoors by way of the air supply duct 6 by a fan. |
