PURPOSE:To impart high level of electrostatic close adhesiveness by a small amount of metal compounds by forming a film from a polyester composition containing a specific zinc compound and a specific alkali metal compound. CONSTITUTION:A polyester composition containing a zinc compound and an alkali metal compound in respective amounts satisfying formulae I, II at the same time is melted to be extruded into a film. Next, the melt-extrusion film is closely adhered to a rotary cooling roll electrostatically to be quenched and solidified. As the Zn-compound, any one soluble in the reaction system can be used and an org. acid salt such as zinc acetate or zinc benzoate is designated. The loading of this Zn-compound is pref. 5-500 ppm with respect to polyester as a Zn-atom. As the alkali metal compound, any one soluble in the reaction system can be used and carboxylate or phosphate of Li, Na or K is pref. and it is necessary that the loading of this alkali metal compound is set to a range of 0.1-20 on the basis of an atomic ratio of Zn/alkali metal. |
