The water bed has a water bag unit (10) which defines on its inner side round the edge an endless tunnel (11) which encloses a layer (12) enclosing an air chamber (13). Two horizontal stretch elements (20,30) are arranged inside the tunnel at different heights and with the water bag unit define an upper water chamber (101), lower water chamber (103) and a middle water chamber (102). Several vertical stretch elements (40) are set inside the upper and lower water chambers. The water is filled into the water chambers through water valve and air is driven into the air chamber through an air valve. Each of the horizontal and vertical stretch elements has a curved area defining a tubular water passage (22,33,43). An electric heating unit is attached in the bed frame.
