IMAGE AND VOICE MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously reproduce and display the desired images and voices as necessary without stopping the present picture recording operation by preparing plural storage/reproduction series and operating them in parallel to each other. SOLUTION: A digital video encoder 4 converts the analog video signals received from a camera 6 and the analog voice signals received from a microphone into the digital image/voice data by a compression encoding method such as MPEG2, etc. Then the encoder 4 sends the image/voice data to an AV file manager 1 via a network 3 to store them in a storage 2 and also monitors them via a TV 5. A digital video decoder 10 occasionally gives the requests to the manager 1 via the network 3 for distribution of messages against the claims of the viewers, etc. Then the decoder 10 decodes the desired digital image/voice data and reproduces the images and voices via a monitor 13 and a speaker 14. The digital image/voice data are stored in the storage 2 in a prescribed schedule and with the partial overlapping of time.
