摘要 <p>Additive for mineral binder systems, esp. for the building industry, contains finely-divided, smectic silicate(s) (I) and opt. other additive(s) (II). The (I) fraction is more than 60 wt.% and the swelling vol. of (I) is 5-50 ml w.r.t. a suspension of 2 g (I) in 100 ml water. Also claimed is a method for producing the additive. The additive contains more than 80 wt.% esp. more than 90 wt.% (I) and less than 40, pref. less than 20, esp. less than 10 wt.% (II). (I) acts as carrier for (II). The additive is used in an amt. of 0.01-5, esp. 0.01-3, more esp. 0.01-0.9 wt.% w.r.t. total solids in the binder system. (I) is bentonite, montmorillonite, hectorite, saponite, beidelite and/or sauconite of natural or synthetic origin; or a mixt. with a fraction of foliated extender silicate, e.g. vermiculite, illite, mica, pyrophyllite, talc and/or kaolin, so that the mixt. esp. has a swelling vol. of 5-40, more esp. 10-30 ml. (II) is surfactant, air pore former, liquefier, accelerator, retarder, water retention aid, densifier, waterproofing agent, shrinkage inhibitor or other usual additives.</p>
