TOUCH PANEL TYPE PEN INPUT COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute input operation using a key switch after checking a tap input and an input position by cursor display. SOLUTION: The computer is provided with a key switch buffer 7 for storing the key switch state of a touch input pen 1 and a tapinput flag 16 for discriminating a tap input state for allowing the pen 1 to touch a touch panel 9 and a continuous input state for moving the pen 1 on the panel 9. When the flag 16 indicates the tap input state, the specifed operation corresponding to a specified input area on the panel 9 is executed when the pen 9 touches the panel 9. When the flag 16 indicates the continuous input state, the position pointed out by the pen 1 is displayed as a cursor, and when the key switch of the pen 1 is depressed, the specified operation corresponding to a specified area on the panel 9 is executed.
