PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate data in real time and to effectively utilize information by providing a PDA(portable communication information terminal) with both communication functions, i.e., a fast data communication function and the function of a base station for radio communication. SOLUTION: The PDA 1 exchanges information with a network system 3 through a PDA station 2. A server 5 is a computer which administers information of this whole communication system and a database 6 is stored with various data that the whole system shares. As a communication means between the PDA 1 and PAD station 2, the fast communication means using a cable and the radio communication means by PHS are prepared. When the PDA 1 and PDA station 2 are connected, information is exchanged by using the cable in principle. When the PAD 1 is away from the PDA station 2, the radio communication means is used in principle to exchange information. |
