<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance functions of, and reduce the size and weight of, an electric connection box, and reduce the number of its components by housing a printed board and an internal circuit comprising cold-welded terminals in layers in a case, and protruding external connecting terminals, formed on some of the cold-welded terminals, at connector housing sections, formed on the outside of the case. SOLUTION: A printed board 13 mounted with electronic components as the lower layer and a circuit comprising single core wires 14 and cold-welded terminals 15, 16 as the lower layer, are housed in the lower case 10 and the upper case 11 of an electric connection box. The printed board 13 has printed conductive portions 13a, 13b formed on its top and underside, and an electronic component 12 mounted on the top is connected with the conductive portion 13a on the top. The lower end 16a of the cold-welded terminal 16 is passed through a terminal hole 13c formed in the printed board 13, and is connected with the conductive portion 13b on the underside through solder 17. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the size and weight of the electric connection box and further reduce the number of components required.</p> |
