PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the structure of a light source small and compact without making it complicated by alternately generating a left eye image and a right eye image in a panel in terms of a time and controlling the prescribed pitch movement of a light transmitting part with a light shielding part by synchronization with it. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal shutter 2, the vertical stripe-shaped light transmitting part e1 and the light shielding part e2 are alternately formed and the light transmitting part e1 and the light shielding part e2 are moved by prescribed pitch. A lenticular lens 3 is constituted by providing cemicircular lens parts 3a corresponding to the respective pairs of the light transmitting part e1 and the light shielding part e2. A light transmissive image display liquid crystal panel 4 is arranged at the light emitting side of the lenticular lens 3. A control means permits the left eye image and the right eye image to be alternately generated in the image display liquid crystal panel 4 in terms of a time and also executes the prescribed pitch movement control of the light transmitting part e1 with the light shielding part e2 in the liquid crystal shutter 2, that is, the energizing control of a stripe pattern to respective transparent electrode film by synchronization with the generation of the images. |
