PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cope with a nonstandardized bar code. SOLUTION: A POS terminal is equipped with a nonstandardized bar code information file 5b in which article information corresponding to a nonstandardized bar code that can not be read by a read means 1 is registered. Then a central processing part 6 when receiving the input of a list display key from a key input means 2 displays a list of article information corresponding to the nonstandardized bar code on a display means 5 and when a choice of specific article information in the list is received, the selected article information is regarded as article information on a bar-code inputted article to carry on the process. |
