Sports activities such as weightlifting are carried out on a platform assembled from at least one and preferably several panels (2) made from a material with shock absorbing or distributing properties. The panels comprise an expanded plastic material core (11) with roughly identical fibre-reinforced hard plastic layers (12, 13) on both the top and bottom sides. Preferably the core material comprises PVC. |
