SOLUTION: This bed is mounted with an installing metal fitting 5 installed on the short side of a main frame 4 on which a footboard 3 is installed and a key switch 7 which is placed on this installing metal fitting 5 so as to become a parallel condition and has external appearance cylindrical switch units 6a and 6b and is turned on so that a signal by switch operation by the switch units 6a and 6b is outputted between these switch units 6a and 6b and is turned off so that the signal is not outputted. The switch units 6a and 6b mounted on a bottom part 5b of the installing metal fitting 5 are projected outside by going over a lower edge part of the footboard 3.
