PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion containing sliced apple, using the apple pieces to utilize the taste specific to apple, and not separating water, even when preserved for a long period at ordinary temperatures. SOLUTION: This oil-in-water type emulsified food containing sliced apple has a Brix degree of 15 to 40 in the aqueous phase of the oil-in-water emulsion, and contains the apple pieces in an amount of 30 to 90% based on the total amount of the food. The apple slices are immersed in a syrup to obtain the same Brix degree as that of the aqueous phase of the oil-in-water type emulsion. |
