PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bit errors generated due to deterioration of the C/N of local oscillation signals by white noises generated by a variable attenuator. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a mixer 4 for frequency- converting received signals to intermediate frequency signals, a local oscillator 5 for inputting local oscillation signals to the mixer 4, demodulator 13 for demodulating the intermediate frequency signals and detecting base band signals, and a variable attenuator 8 inserted between the mixer 4 and the demodulator 13 and equipped with a pin diode for fixing the level of the intermediate frequency signals inputted to the demodulator 13. An attenuation means 9 for attenuating the frequency band of the local oscillation signals is provided between the mixer 4 and the variable attenuator 8. |
