PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method, with which the magnetic characteristic of an Fe-Cr-Co hard magnetic material can be controlled, without changing the composition of the material so that the material is capable of easily coping with various and diversified application with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing an Fe-Cr-Co hard magnetic material, an Fe-Cr-Co hard magnetic material is manufactured by subjecting it to solution heat treatment on a material composed of 20-40 wt.% Cr and 5-30 wt.% Co, with the balance substantially being Fe, and successively performing spinodal decomposition heat treatment and concentration-difference enlarging heat treatment. The solution heat treatment is conducted for a short time of less than or equal to 5 minutes at 950-1,250 deg.C. |
