PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device capable of obtaining an image whose surface is smooth and soft all over the image and excellent in texture, preventing offset to a fixing roll, uniformly reproducing high glossiness without depending on image density on transfer material and preventing wasteful consumption of transparent toner. SOLUTION: This image forming method is provided with a stage where an electrostatic latent image having myriad-line structure is formed on an image carrier, a stage where the electrostatic latent image is color-developed by using chormatic toner and the transparent toner, and a stage where the formed developed image is transferred to a transfer body. In the stage where the electrostatic latent image having the myriad-line structure is formed on the image carrier, the image signal of the transparent toner is modulated based on the image signal of the chromatic toner, whereby a laser beam for exposure is on/off controlled and the transparent toner is developed between myriad lines of the chromatic toner. |
