Purified, isolated cDNAs (A1) designated rat retL1 (3616 bp); partial or complete human retL1 (1223 or 1682 bp); human retL2 (1888 bp); murine (1889 bp) or human (1699 bp) retL3 are new (retL indicates a ligand for the Ret receptor tyrosine kinase). Also new are (1) DNA (A2) encoding the amino acid (aa) sequence of rat RetL1 (468 aa), partial (346 aa) or complete (460 aa) human RetL1, human RetL2 (464 aa), murine (397 aa) or human (400 aa) RetL3, also DNA that hybridises with (A2) or would do so but for the degeneracy of the genetic code; (2) DNA (A3) at least 80% homologous to (A1); (3) recombinant DNA or vectors containing (A1)-(A3); (4) prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells stably transformed or transfected with these vectors; (5) Ret proteins (B) expressed by (A1)-(A3), including their variants and fusion proteins; (6) monoclonal antibodies (Ab) specifically reactive with (B); (7) hybridomas that produce Ab. |
