PURPOSE: A method for producing block for pavement by using clay generated during water purification process is provided to recycle waste sludge and to prevent environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: Sludge dried completely by waste heat of boiler is mixed with 5-10 wt.% of mineral binder, kaolin, 20-25 wt.% of clay, clean water and agitated for 30 min. This mixture is molded by press machine followed by sintering in the temperature range of 1200 to 1320deg.C for 8 hrs. Finally, the products are cooled at ambient condition.
