PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video print playing machine that can arbitrarily change a photographing range area in a frame image, depending on the size or the shape of an object image, so as to put the object image into the photographing range area without the need for reduction. SOLUTION: Pixels of a designated area 36 in a frame area 32 are converted into pixels in the same transparent color as those of a substantial photographing range area 33, so as to extend the transparent photographing range area 33 in a frame image 31. Thus, even when the size of the object image is larger than the size of the substantial photographing range area 33 or the shape of the object image does not match with the shape of the substantial photographing range area 33, the object image can be put into the photographing range area 33.
