PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the terminal part of a cleaning web from being peeled from a supply shaft by accurately detecting the finish of taking-up the cleaning web with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This fixing device is equipped with the supply shaft 11 round which the cleaning web 10 for removing toner or the like adhering to the peripheral surface of a heating roller is wound, a take-up shaft 13 for taking up the web 10 supplied from the supply shaft 11, a driving shaft 21 for driving the take-up shaft 13 and a driving force transmitting means 19 for transmitting the driving force of the driving shaft 21 to the take-up shaft 13, and the transmitting means 19 is constituted to be displaced on the driving shaft 21 at the point of time when the web 10 is all taken up to the take-up shaft 13. The fixing device is provided with a detection means 29 for detecting the displacement of the transmitting means 19 and a display part displaying the finish of taking-up the web 10 according to the detection signal of the detection means 29.
