PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine capable of further reducing sliding resistance at the start of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The lubricating device of the internal combustion engine comprises an oil tank 3 having a thermally insulated partition 3a, a heating-up means 9 for heating lubricating oil by heat generated by the internal combustion engine 1, a reserving means 8 for reserving the heated lubricating oil by the heating-up means 9 in the thermally insulated-partition 3a, and supply means 5 and 6 for supplying the lubricating oil reserved in the thermally insulated partition 3a to each part of the internal combustion engine 1. The supply means 5 and 6 have, in a non-thermally insulated partition 3b, a strainer 5 for sucking the lubricating oil in the oil tank 3, and a feeding means 11 for feeding out the lubricating oil reserved in the thermally insulated partition 3a to the direct under part of the suction hole of the strainer 5 at the start of the internal combustion engine 1.
