PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate separation work of an ejection button from a slide plate. SOLUTION: The disk drive is provided with a frame, having sidewall parts formed on two opposite sides and a bottom wall part provided between the sidewall parts, the slide plate located so as to be brought into contact with the inner surface side of the frame bottom wall part and to be engaged to the frame, a carrier for holding the disk by engaging with the slide plate, and an ejection button for depressing with a finger, when taking the disk up from the carrier mounted on the slide plate. A first and second opening part are provided at a location corresponding to the lower part of the ejection button in the frame and the slide plate, respectively. The ejection button is released from the slide plate, by operating the ejection button from the outer surface side of the frame bottom wall part through the first and second opening parts.
