PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately discriminate a plurality of broadcast schemes for providing a receivable receiving apparatus. SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus is configured to comprise analyzing means 4, 5 for analyzing received signal, storage means 6 for storing a plurality of broadcast scheme information, determining means 7 for determining the broadcast scheme of a signal, based on the analyzed result by the analyzing means 4, 5 and the broadcast scheme information stored in the storage means 6, and for receiving processing means 8 for receive processing a signal based on the determined result.
