PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lapping shield machine capable of efficiently performing laying work of a waterproof sheet. SOLUTION: In this lapping shield machine having a travel guide 4 for supporting a self-advancing welder 5 at traveling time, and a sheet setter 7 for holding a new waterproof sheet 6-2 wound in a cylindrical shape so as to approximate to a shape of an outer peripheral surface of a segment 12, and joining a lap part r of the waterproof sheet by the welder 5 by winding a new waterproof sheet 6-2 so as to lap mutual adjacent edge parts on the cylindrical existing waterproof sheet 6-1, an unsliding part 10-2a always projecting from a cylinder tube 10-1 is arranged on a shield jack rod 10-2, and a support plate 4-6 of the travel guide 4 and a sheet holding guide 7-5 of the sheet setter 7 are respectively installed in the unsliding part 10-2a so as to adjust a position in the radial direction of a tail plate 11a.
