PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping structure of a PC frame having a very high ability to absorb the energy of earthquake-induced vibration, so that it can absorb the energy of the vibration very efficiently. SOLUTION: A column 1 and a beam 2 are pressed and joined together by a PC steel member 3 and at their junction a damper for absorbing the energy of vibration using the separate deformation of the junction is installed. In this case, double T-steel 4 and T-steel 5 are provided as rigid members to protrude respectively from a side face portion of the column 1 and a lower side face portion of the beam 2, and a viscoelastic element 7 is bonded as a damper in a clearance 6 between the respective webs 4a and 5a of the steel 4 and 5. By varying the projected lengths of the double T-steel 4 and the T-steel 5, the amount by which the junction is deformed to move the column and the beam apart is controlled.
