PURPOSE: To provide an automobile start safety device preventing an engine from being started unless a seat belt is fitted and generating an alarm via a buzzer and a lamp. CONSTITUTION: A battery power source 1 is connected to two channels of circuits respectively. The circuits are divided into two channels from an ignition switch 3. The circuit of the channel I is constituted of an engine switch 2-1a and an engine controller 4. The circuit of the channel II is constituted of a radio 5, a warning switch 2-1b, a seat switch 6, a buzzer 7, and a warning lamp 8. The engine switch 2-1a and warning switch 2-1b are component parts of a switch section 2-1, the engine switch 2-1a is normally turned off, and the warning switch 2-1b is normally turned on. When a seat belt is fitted, a switch selector section 2-2 can be connected to the switch section 2-1, then the engine switch 2-1a is turned on, and the warning switch 2-1b is turned off. |
