ROAD STATUS GRASPING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road status grasping system capable of estimating the development of traffic congestion using a sensor for detecting only a vehicle at a lower speed than constant speed. SOLUTION: This system compares the position and speed obtained when it is detected that the vehicle 23 is decelerated to the lower speed than constant speed within a monitoring range of the sensor with the position and speed of a forward low-speed vehicle 22, predicts whether or not traffic congestion is developing, and prepares traffic congestion information.
