BAND PROTECTION METHOD IN STM-SHARED ACCESS PDS TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in a transmission system by assuring the mini mum band to a user's request and at the same time, optimizing a used band to traffic variation regarding the STM shared access PDS transmission system, where one portion of the transmission band is shared by plural subscribers. SOLUTION: In the STM shared access PDS transmission, a down individual path frame 1-11 and a down band-sharing path frame 1-12 are transmitted into a down frame 1-1, and an up individual path frame 1-21 and a band-sharing path frame 1-22 are transmitted into the up frame 1-2. In the STM shared access PDS transmission, in the case of a user's minimum band assurance request for using the down or up band-sharing path frame, a path frame that the user uses is switched to the down or up individual path frame to assure the minimum band by monitoring the setting or the traffic.
