PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convergence correction device that can realize energy saving by decreasing a power supply voltage of a convergence output amplifier without distorting a convergence correction waveform. SOLUTION: When a level of a waveform at a point A is higher than a reference voltage (positive) of a reference voltage generator 18, a transistor(TR) 17c is turned on so as to fix the potential of waveform at the point A to the reference voltage (positive) via a diode 17a and a TR 17b. Thus, the absolute level of the waveform at the point A is suppressed lower, resulting in decreasing the absolute value of the electromotive force generated in a CY(Convergence Yoke). As a result, the power supply voltage of the output amplifier can be decreased so as to reduce the power consumption of the convergence correction device.
