ADAPTOR FOR MEMORY CARD

An adaptor enabling a mini-sized memory card to be used in a device with a slot for regular-sized memory card. The adaptor includes a base and a cover that are made of a resin material, conductive members fixed on the base so as to be in electrical contact with I/O terminals of a memory card in the adaptor, and a metallic shell clasped between the base and the cover. A memory card-receiving chamber is formed by a space surrounded by the metallic shell and the base. Using the metallic shell improves rigidity of the adaptor, providing highly reliable exchangeability and preventing damage of a small-sized, thin memory card.
