<p>An acaricide which is exceedingly highly effective in controlling acarians over long. The acaricide comprises (a) an acylacetonitrile compound represented by the general formula (1): (1) [wherein R<1> represents -C(O)ZR<2>; R<2> represents C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 haloalkyl, C2-4 alkenyl, C2-4 alkynyl, (C1-6 alkoxy)C1-4 alkyl, (C1-4 alkylthio)C1-4 alkyl, or benzyl; Z represents oxygen or sulfur; X and Y each represents halogeno, C1-6 alkyl, or C1-4 haloalkyl; and m and n each is an integer of 1 to 3, provided that the m X's may be the same or different and the n Y's may be the same or different] and (b) chlorofenapyr.</p> |
