The installation has a transport vehicle (1,2), a cable-winch (5) situated at front of vehicle and a cable with which the wood (10), using the winch, can be moved from the the back to the transporter. On the back of the vehicle is a rotatable turning frame (3) or linear moveable lifting frame with support roller (11) which can be lowered or lifted as wished using the frame so that, using the winch, the moved wood can be lifted and pulled onto the transporter and loaded.
