PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reading work by read means and the connecting work of a connector, by reading in a reader, welding condition data displayed on the surface of a synthetic resin-made member, and drivingly controlling an electric welding device by a welding condition just as the welding condition data through a radio communication line. SOLUTION: In the case that a coupling 5 and a synthetic resin pipe are welded to each other by the use of an electric welding device 1, firstly, a power supply cord 29 is connected to power supply. Next, after a bar code 51 on the surface of the coupling 5 is read by a bar code reader 3 and welding condition data read are memorized in a memory, the data are transmitted to the radio communicating apparatus of a device main body 2 through a radio communicating apparatus by operating an operating part 33, and memorized in the memory of the device main body 2. Then, after a connector 28a is connected to the terminal 52 of the coupling 5, and also a pipe is fitted to the coupling 5, electricity is supplied from welding power supply to a heater wire embedded in the coupling 5 through a cable 28 while being controlled by the operating part 25 of the device main body 2, so that the heater wire is heated, and the coupling 5 and the pipe are welded to each other. |
