A water dispenser is provided to improve the convenience of a user by disposing a switch on a side face or a bottom face of a water supply part and prevent water of a water supply container from flowing over the water supply container by installing a control part for controlling a water discharge part. A water dispenser comprises: a housing(200) in which a water supply part(210) is formed; a water dispenser body disposed within the housing to supply water; a water discharge part for receiving water from the water dispenser body and supplying the water to the water supply part; and a switch(410) installed on the water supply part to transmit a water discharge signal to the water discharge part. The switch is disposed on a side face or a bottom face of the water supply part. The water dispenser further comprises a control part for controlling the water discharge part such that only a determined amount of water is discharged when the switch is pressed.
