INTERNAL DEFECTS EVALUATING APPARATUS FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

An apparatus for evaluating internal defects of agricultural products is provided to determine the internal defects such as cavity and browning of the agricultural products and the quality rapidly and accurately without being influenced by the external noise by detecting frequency through direct application of vibration to the agricultural products without sampling or cutting of the agricultural products. An apparatus for evaluating internal defects of agricultural products comprises a tray(10) in which agricultural products such as watermelon are placed and transferred in a predetermined direction and a through hole is formed; a worktable in which a transfer belt(22) to transfer the tray is equipped and a through hole(20a) is formed on the progress path; a striker(30) which is attached to a first lift(32) installed at a support(31) on the worktable to be lifted up and down directly over the through hole and strike the outer circumference of the products; a vibration sensor(40) which is installed at a support bracket(41) at the lower side of the worktable to be lifted up and down directly under the striker and the upper end portion of which is closely attached to the outer circumference of the products to detect the internal vibration of the products generated by the striker; and a controlling portion which controls the working of each of the elements and also determines the internal defects of the products.
