摘要 Disclosed is an electrolyte film which can maintain excellent cell properties over a long period under high temperature and low water absorption conditions which is the most important characteristic for a fuel cell. Specifically disclosed is a process for producing a polymer electrolyte film for a fuel cell, which comprises the steps of: graft-polymerizing a vinyl silane coupling agent having a phenyl group capable of having a sulfonate group on a polymer film base material to form a graft molecule chain; introducing a sulfonate group into the phenyl group in the graft molecular chain; and hydrolyzing/fusing the alkoxy groups in the graft molecule chain to impart a silane-crosslinked structure between the graft molecule chains. Also disclosed is a polymer electrolyte film for a fuel cell, which is produced by the process.
