<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast receiver which reduces an uncomfortable feeling of a viewer. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with a digital broadcast receiving circuit which receives a digital broadcast signal and outputs a digital stream, a receiving sensitivity information and a receiving error rate information, an analog broadcast receiving circuit which receives an analog broadcast signal and outputs an image data which has digital-converted an image signal, a sound data which has digital-converted an analog sound signal and the receiving sensitivity information, an image/sound decoder 10 which selects either of the digital stream, the image data and the sound data based on a decoder control signal C1, decodes it and outputs an image output signal and a sound output signal, a controller 61 which outputs the decoder control signal based on an analog broadcast receiving sensitivity information, a digital broadcast receiving sensitivity information and a digital broadcast receiving error rate information, and a display apparatus 11 which displays the image output signal and outputs a sound of the sound output signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
