<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to prevent preinstallation of an image reconstructing and processing software which is necessary for reconstructing and processing an image on the basis of data acquired from a server. <P>SOLUTION: An interactive method is provided which allows a user to acquire diagnostic image data from a server having access to stored data via a network with a restricted communication bandwidth and to carry out on-line processing of the diagnostic image data. The method comprises the step of connecting a user's computer and the server via a communication network, the step of requesting specific image data, the step of transmitting the requested image data to a user, the step of reconstructing an image on the basis of the image data, and the step of carrying out image processing of the image on the user's computer. During the connecting step, an industry standard browser on the user's computer is used. In the method, an image having diagnostic image quality is reconstructed and is subjected to image processing without involvement of the user by using an image reconstructing and processing software received from the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
