Disclosed is an automatic hand towel apparatus. The automatic hand towel apparatus comprises: a towel having both ends connected to each other; a power transmission unit transmitting the towel; a cleaning unit disposed on one side of the towel and spraying a cleaning solution; a dry unit disposed on the other side of the towel and drying the towel; and a sensor transmitting signals to the power transmission unit and driving the same by recognizing an adjacent user, wherein the towel is designed to be transferred to the cleaning unit and the drying unit by the power transmission unit. Therefore, the automatic hand towel apparatus enables users to use the towel without replacing the towel several times as the rotating towel is transferred to the cleaning unit and then to the drying unit automatically, thereby preventing waste of resources.
