The present invention relates to a secondary battery which comprises: an electrode assembly of a stacked structure which includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes; and an electrode lead which is electrically connected to electrode tabs of the electrode assembly, and extracted to the outside of a battery case. The electrode tab and the electrode lead form a coupling unit electrically interconnected by ultrasonic welding. An outer surface of the coupling unit is covered by a thermosetting sealing member.
