The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating a depth map using refractive medium on binocular base. The apparatus includes a first camera, a second camera which is separated from the first camera by a constant distance, a refractive medium installed in front of the first camera, and a computing part which generates the depth map based on images photographed from the first camera and the second camera.
