METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLASSIFYING OBJECTS

Provided are a method and an apparatus for classifying an object. The method comprises: a step of receiving image data through a first channel; a step of classifying an object from the first channel image data by using a first object classifier in a first execution environment; a step of receiving the image data through a second channel which is different from the first channel; a step of collecting a learning sample to be learned by the first object classifier, from the image data of the second channel in a second execution environment; and a step of allowing the first object classifier to learn the learning sample. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for classifying an object in order to improve accuracy and performance of recognizing the object from an image.
