CONTROL APPARATUS FOR ELECTRONIC VALVE OF REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLE FOR UNDERWATER WORK AND THE CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a control device for an electronic proportional control valve of an underwater robot capable of smoothly controlling a speed and a posture of the underwater robot by variably controlling the electronic proportional control valve applying oil pressure to the underwater robot according to a water pressure proportional to a water level and to a control method thereof. The control device for the electronic proportional control valve of the underwater robot includes: a frequency setting unit setting a frequency value of variable reference waves correcting a duty value of PWM signals applied to the electronic proportional control valve to supply a desirable amount of pressured oil to a hydraulic device; and a PWM driver control unit generating the PWM signals having the duty value varied by the variable reference waves after generating the variable reference waves by oscillating according to the frequency value of the variable reference waves received from the frequency setting unit and outputting the PWM signals to the electronic proportional control valve. The control device for the electronic proportional control valve of the underwater robot provides an effect of smoothly controlling the speed and the posture of the underwater robot by correcting the duty value of the PWM signals according to the water pressure proportional to the water level.
