The present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display device capable of improving brightness uniformity by spatially distributing a resolution difference between a calculation voltage and the output voltage of a data driver in a sensing mode, and a sensing method thereof. The OLED display device comprises a data processing unit which compensates voltage data by applying one of a first compensating value and a second compensating value in the sensing mode; drives each sub pixel by using dithering voltage data after dithering the compensated voltage data with a predetermined dithering pattern set; and updates the first compensating value or the second compensating value stored in a memory by using a sensing voltage sensed from each driven sub pixel.
