An objective of the present invention is to provide a contact sensing device which decreases an operating time, during which a driving signal is applied, and has a high sensing accuracy. The contact sensing device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a panel unit which includes a plurality of driving electrodes and a plurality of sensing electrodes which are arranged to intersect the driving electrodes; a driving circuit unit which applies a plurality of driving signals simultaneously to the driving electrodes in a predetermined interval; and a sensing circuit unit which measures capacitance variations in a plurality of node capacitors which occur in intersections between the driving electrodes and the sensing electrodes. When a driving waveform of the driving signal which is applied to the driving electrodes in a (2k-1)^th interval and a (2k+1)^th interval (k is a natural number greater than or equal to 1) among predetermined intervals, has the same phases, the driving circuit unit applies a reverse driving signal with respect to the driving waveform of the driving signal in the (2k-1)^th interval, to the driving electrode in a (2k)^th interval. |
